Disney Institute Includes Magna-Tech
Orlando, Florida - The new Walt Disney Institute in Orlando Florida has
constructed a new screening room. This includes 16 & 35mm projection and a fully
equipped Dolby sound processing system.
Magna-Tech was selected as the supplier of the sound dubbing equipment and a Series
2000 six track machine was chosen.
The sale was negotiated by National Cinema Supply, one of Magna-Tech's domestic
dealers. The installation was completed by Larry Polla of High-Tech Inc.
This is the sound order for machines supplied to the Disney organization in the last
few months. Magna-Tech was also chosen by disney to supply several series 2000 units to
the newly completed animation facility in Phoenix, Arizona.
Magna-Tech will continue to supply the finest in preview equipment, for all its
customers and clients, well into the foreseeable future. |
Sonics Ups Orders for Eyemax
Sam Osnos, President of Magna-Tech, reported that Sonics Associates would be placing an
order for twenty-two specially made Series 10,000 Magna-Tech six track 35mm reproducers.
Mr. Sam Osnos negotiated both sales with Sonics.
Sonics is the audio division of the Eyemax company. Eyemax supplies 70mm Horizontal 15
perf format films and complete theater outfits for the large frame and special venue
market.
Eyemax large venue theater construction has increased significantly and markets have
expanded greatly. Eyemax has recently opened an office in Hong Kong.

Strong Electric Sells Magna-Tech Product
Omaha, Nebraska - Strong Electric Company, the world's largest supplier of 35mm
theater projection equipment and exclusive USA distributor of ISCO lenses, was recently
shipped its first order of three Magna-Tech 4000 Series Dubbers.
The 4000 Series is a single unit combination 16/35mm system. It is used in post
production, preview rooms, and in some cases as a portable unit for special road show
interlock projection systems.
John Wilmers, of Strong, negotiated the sale with Steven Krams, CEO of Magna-Tech.
Magna-Tech welcomes Strong in joining its distributor and dealer network around the world.
